Bity Booker with support from Belinda Gent 19:30 - 22:00

Bity Booker writes and sings her songs with her classical guitar.
She grew up in an isolated old house in the countryside in Umbria (Italy) with her animals and parents.
She started playing in bands at an early age and then continued playing in death metal bands for some years.

She then decided to stop screaming and sing what she calls "Acoustic Troubles" with her clean and unusual voice accompanied by her classical guitar.

Bity Booker produced an EP titled "See you @ Elephant Tree" recorded in Sydney (Australia) and available at her live performances, limited to 500 vinyl copies.

At the moment she lives in London where she is writing songs and performing live.

In Nov 2009 bemuzic bought two Cigar Box Guitars from eBay. She has since bought quite a few more!

She has also now built several Cigar Box Guitars herself, plus a one string Diddley Bow from some driftwood, a Canjo, a Cigar Box Diddley Bow, a Cigar Box Bass, a bed warmer guitar and a guitar made from a Bourbon biscuit tin……and three Cigar Box Amps, an amp made from an old radio, a bone slide, and some bottleneck slides. This home made music is taking over her life!!!

She has brought out an EP and three albums, the most recent of which "Pass It On" came out in August 2013.

In June 2011 she started going busking (Street Performing if you're from the US!) and has continued going nearly every week since, in Cambridge and other nearby towns. She finds great satisfaction in playing her own songs, on instruments she made herself, getting feedback from people and selling a few CD's.
