About the artists:

Highly respected Cambridge based jazz musician Tim Boniface (saxophone) brings a set of classic jazz to Hot Numbers. With an engaging delivery and infectious enthusiasm, Tim’s lush saxophone sound and swinging style is grounded in the classic mainstream and hard-bop jazz eras. Tim will be joined by Russell Williams (piano), Laurence Evans (bass), and Les Cirkel (drums). An entertaining night not to be missed!

A jazz multi-instrumentalist a composer based in Cambridge, Tim Boniface works primarily on saxophones and piano, but also players flugelhorn, clarinet, guitars and more. A leader of his own ensembles – especially his quartet with whom he has released two acclaimed jazz suites, Tim has also worked with many wonderful musicians on the UK jazz scene, including Tony Kofi, Polly Gibbons, Scott Hamilton, James Pearson, Tara Minton and Irene Serra – with whom he has developed a project bringing together the music of Nancy Wilson and Dexter Gordon. Tim is also a priest and theologian and is Chaplain of Girton College, where he loves the rich artistic scene that weaves through College life.

DGR 2022

Sunday 22nd May (AM) @ The Roastery

The DGR is coming to Cambridge this May and Hot Numbers Coffee are delighted to be hosting this fundraising event once again at the Roastery. Last year we had a brilliant collection of riders – women, men, young and old! Everyone gathered, took a look at the amazing motorbikes dotted around the car park and chatted about life over a coffee and a bacon roll (veggie options were available too!). After the meet, the riders set off together on their pre-planned route through the beautiful countryside. We’re looking to recreate a similar feel this year, so if you ride a classic motorbike or are interested in seeing what all the fuss is about and just coming along to take a look, check out the link below:

https://www.gentlemansride.com/

Location: Hot Numbers Roastery
Time: In the morning. Specific time TBC.
Price: Free

Hope to see you there!
