Friday night music is back this Easter weekend… Paul Higgs, Simon Brown and Simon Wood will treat us  to a wonderful selection of favorite standards synonymous with the trumpet greats including Miles Davis, Clifford Brown and Chet Baker.

Paul Higgs has an extensive musical career in many fields including performing, composing and arranging music for film, TV and theatre. Formerly a leading performer and composer in NYJO, he then became a Musical Director for the National Theatre and the RSC. He has performed with Sir Peter Maxwell Davis, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Johnny Dankworth, Rosemary Clooney, Lulu, John Williams, Nancy Wilson and Shorty Rodgers.

Simon Brown is director of, and house pianist for Norwich Jazz Club since 2017, Simon has been a rhythm section regular around the eastern region since the ‘90s, and performed with many of the UK’s top jazz soloists in the region’s clubs.

Simon Wood is based in Essex and regularly works at jazz venues around the eastern region where he also performs in a number of the region’s orchestras.

Included in your gig ticket will be a charcuterie board with a selection of Rennet & Rind cheeses, cold cuts & accompaniments put together by our talented kitchen team.

All the usual supply of fabulous house cakes will be available on the counter for purchase throughout the night.

£35 gig entry and seating with food – cheeses from Rennet & Rind plus charcuterie board.

£15 standing entry only / seating if available on the night.

There will be no band collection on the night.
