Worka Chelbesa is one of the finest coffee producing areas in the Gedeb Woreda district. The coffee trees here are grown in a semi forest area with false banana trees as part of the shade provided for the coffee trees. A new wet mill was built in the village which allows for the locally grown coffee cherries to be processed in the area.
