Purple Field Productions presents: MBEU YOSINTHA seeds of change

Purple Field Productions presents a Screen Friends Preview of MBEU YOSINTHA (Seeds of Change) (60mins)

Weds 12th November 7.30pm
Pay What You Can Preview (suggested donation £5)

This is the latest drama to be produced in Malawi - working with local people in rural villages - by UK film charity Purple Field Productions. Intended as a drama to highlight the issues facing rural farming communities in remote areas of Malawi, the film has been called “The Archers for Malawi”. Originally commissioned as an educational farming film this epic drama is much much more - featuring a host of colourful memorable village characters and some very real hard-hitting dramatic situations.

The film is part of vital social development work covering farming, women’s rights, education and is currently being screened in Malawi on a new pedal-power cinema kit but has not been seen in the UK yet.  This is a special Cambridge Preview.

Director/Producer Colin Stevens will be introducing the film and will be available for Q&A at the end of the screening. Follow Purple Field Productions on Twitter @PFPfilmcharity and visit the film website for more information.

All funds raised go towards Purple Field Productions unique work.
