Alex Hitchcock Trio

w/ Steak&Honour serving 6-9pm

London-born saxophonist Alex Hitchcock, featured in Jazzwise's 'Who to look out for in 2016', has performed with artists such as Laurence Cottle, Soweto Kinch, Dennis Rollins, and Stan Sulzmann. This quartet, with National Youth Jazz Orchestra saxophonist Jim Gold and Will Barry (pianist in Jasper Hoiby's new band Qualia) on drums, explores the music of legendary composers such as Duke Ellington and Cole Porter, opening up their compositions to the earthy sound of the chordless setup.
