In her own words Minnie Birch makes "Sad dreary music that will leave you feeling happy" her 2015 debut album, which received air play on BBC Radio 1, has been called a "Disturbing masterpiece" She is based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire but spends most of her time away on tour. Her main songwriting influence stems from Fairy Tales and the darker side of life. Her sad song about a long lost sailor won her the opening tour slot for Joan Armatrading. Minnie likes to work with her family, she works alongside her father who creates all her artwork and she takes her name from her Aunt and Granma.
Sycamore Sykes is a man, a musician kind of man based in Cumbria. His second album “The young man blues” received generous praise from Musician and BBC6Music DJ Cerys Matthews.
