Coffee Nace is a family-run micromill founded in 2016 under the name Inversiones Coffee Nace S.A. The name “Nace” is a creative combination of the family surnames Navarro and Ceciliano, symbolizing the union of generations dedicated to coffee. Interestingly, the word “nace” also means “is born” in Spanish, an idea that resonates with the family's commitment to renewal, growth, and legacy in coffee.
Coffee Nace S.A. Micromill is operated by the Navarro Ceciliano family in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica. With over 100 years of history in coffee, their knowledge, experience, and passion have been passed on from one generation to the next. Alongside the micromill, the family also manages farms located between 1,350 and 1,900 meters above sea level, allowing them to work across multiple microclimates and bring out the full potential of each lot.
This lot of Catuai coffee underwent Natural processing at Coffee Nace S.A Micromill. Ripe coffee cherries are sorted to remove defects before being dried. Natural process coffees at the mill dry for an average of 15 days.
