Music is at the Heart of Hot Numbers. Our Name is from a former record store off Mill Road owned by original Cambridge Soul Boy Max Rees, a well-respected DJ and musical encyclopaedia! Hot Numbers were what’s “Hot”, the chart toppers of the day.
Max kindly agreed to us using the name and flying the flag to keep “Hot Numbers Rocking” which he was particularly proud about. We feel we never let him down and have hosted no end of quality independent music events since 2011.
DJ sets and original live music grace our intimate Dales Brewery venue. Lights are low and imposing stone arches are up lit red with a proper jazz club vibe. Sound is important to us and delivered clearly and warmly through our KV2 sound system. Cocktails are shaken and food trucks pull up outside on rotation to ensure no night is ever the same. Hot Numbers is firmly on the map as a destination for a unique night out that you know is truly independent and passionate from the minute you set foot in the door.
