Do something memorable.
Let’s be honest — nobody gets excited about another trust fall or awkward office icebreaker. If you’re planning company team building, hunting for an unusual team party idea, or booking a Cambridgeshire team away day, you need great food, good tunes, and exceptional coffee.
Ditch the predictable outings and gather your team for a genuinely unusual team building activity at the Hot Numbers Roastery in Shepreth, South Cambridgeshire. Swap the screens for the espresso machines and step into the world of specialty coffee. We’ve put together a hands-on workshop that’s energetic, totally unpretentious, and guaranteed to wake everyone up.
■ The Team Coffee Workshop
Tasting, brewing
& latte art.
This isn’t a dry lecture; it’s a 2.5-hour immersive dive into the craft of coffee — the unusual team building activity your team will actually talk about afterwards — perfect for groups of 8 to 20. Whether you’re looking to get hands-on behind the machine or just want to soak up the bustling Roastery atmosphere, here is what we’ll get up to:
No-Snobbery Coffee Tasting
We’ll guide your team through a relaxed tasting session (or “cupping,” as we call it). Taste a curated selection of our roasts while our experts break down the origins, flavour profiles, and what makes each cup unique.
Espresso Principles
Get to grips with extraction and learn how to tweak the variables for a perfectly balanced, great-tasting shot.
Latte Art
Take the jug and learn how to steam milk and pour latte art under the guidance of our experienced barista team.
