We will be diving into Distant World, the thought-provoking new concept album by Hawkins and Clarke of the Melomaniac Collective. Blending an eclectic mix of synth-pop, classical, techno, drum & bass, and ambient sounds, the album tells the captivating story of a man whose mid-century encounter with UFOs alters the course of his life. It is a compelling sonic journey that explores themes of identity, love, and a momentous choice between a troubled Earthly past and an unknown distant world.

Tickets for this unique experience are just £8.00, which includes a complimentary drink of your choice from our fully stocked bar of wines, beers, cocktails, and your usual hot and cold favourites. To keep you fuelled, a local food van will be pitched outside from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM (check our Gigs & Event page to see who is serving!), alongside our usual supply of delicious house cakes indoors. Drinks are served until 10:45 PM, but please remember that seating is entirely unreserved, so we recommend arriving early with your group to secure a great spot for this evocative musical escape.

Hot Numbers Coffee offers a convenient click-and-collect service for our Signature Sourdough Bread, ensuring you can secure a freshly baked artisan loaf without the worry of arriving at a sold-out bakery counter. Each 1kg loaf undergoes a careful, slow-fermentation process designed to create a complex, tangy flavour, an airy crumb, and a beautifully blistered crust. To ensure you get exactly what you need, you can easily customise your order by selecting between plain or seeded varieties, with the added option to take it away either conveniently sliced or left whole.

The collection process is built to be seamless and guarantee peak freshness, with our artisan loaves starting at £4.90. During checkout, simply select your exact collection date and choose from one of our three locations: The Roastery, Trumpington Street, or Gwydir Street. Your bread will be ready and waiting for you as early as 7:30 am on your chosen day. Please keep in mind that orders must be collected on the scheduled date, as uncollected loaves are never held overnight in order to maintain our strict quality standards.
