We are currently looking to recruit a Café Supervisor for our Gwydir Street shop. This is a full time position (including weekends) to help run the store on a day to day basis. You will help deliver great customer service and great coffee to all our customers and help out with all aspects of running the café and supporting the store manager in doing this.

Tasks (this list is not exhaustive)
Serving customers at till
Making and serving coffee
Maintaining and filling all displays
Clearing and cleaning the café
Cleaning the toilets
Washing up / Pot Wash
Setting up the café for open
Cashing off till
Preparing and doing the banking
Assisting the café manager with ordering
Monitoring and assign the daily and weekly cleaning check sheets tasks
Assisting with staff training and performance management
Provide in the moment feedback, praise and performance assessment and
Hard Working with a can-do attitude
Able to work happily and efficiently with other members of the company and communicate appropriately with everyone.
Maintains a calm professional manner in the face of adversity
Deals with ambiguity in a calm and logical manner
Happy to get their hands dirty in all aspects of the café and looks for jobs to do
Flexible approach to working, and a willingness to work in other areas of the business.
BRUNCH CHEF (FULL TIME)
Hot Numbers is expanding our kitchen team and is recruiting for a passionate brunch chef to join our busy and fast paced café in Cambridge with immediate start!
Are you enthusiastic, engaged, and passionate about food and great service? Do you possess the ability to cope under pressure whilst maintaining impeccable food presentation standards and cleanliness?
If you've a professional and flexible approach, 1 year’s experience in a professional kitchen, and excellent time keeping standards we want to hear from you!
Passion for food is essential and an understanding of modern brunch menus is critical. The main duties are
Basic food preparation of our daily menu items
Cooking our brunch menu to order
Good multi-tasking and time management
Maintaining a high level of food safety and cleanliness at all times in the kitchen
Stock control and management
Ordering and receiving deliveries for the Kitchen
Organising stocks in the kitchen
Adhering to SFBB standards
Input into menu development with senior members of the team
A positive can-do attitude, cool head, and a person who takes pride in their work
Early shift patterns starting at 6.30am, so must be able to get to the work at this time.
