Gigs & Events
Hot Numbers finds it's roots in music, with a love of Jazz and Blues. The cafe was named after the old record store on Kingston Street, not far from our Gwydir Street branch. Our evening gig programme highlights some of the best local talent and visiting musicians across many genres. We also host a broad range of evening meet-ups, pop up kitchens, fortnightly drink and draw night and a monthly film night!
Thursday Nights: Jazz Residency organised by Mark Hale 7:30-10:30pm
Friday Nights: Originals performed by a diverse mix musicians and bands encompassing Jazz, Folk, and Singer Songwriters 7:30-10:30pm
Local Food Vans serve outside every Thursday and Friday night serving 6-9pm
Sunday Afternoons: Local Favourites perform family friendly tunes from 1920s Dance Songs to Latin American Folk music 3-5:30pm
All of our live Music is free entry. Musicians are funded by the generosity of the audience, which is encouraged throughout the evening with a suggested donation of £5 per person.
