Two iconic Cambridge independents. Unapologetic, unique, and never afraid to stand out.
2026 marks 15 years since we first opened our doors and started serving coffee for the incredible Cambridge community. By happy coincidence, our good friends over at Cambridge Edition are celebrating their 15th anniversary this year, too!
To mark a decade and a half of shared passion for craft, culture, and independence in our city, we’ve teamed up for an extra special joint anniversary release. Cambridge Edition created the artwork for our exclusive, limited-edition 250g bag packaging, and we did what we do best: sourced and roasted a benchmark Ethiopian single origin to match.
The Coffee: Kecho Anderacha, Telila – Ethiopia
We wanted something truly landmark for this release. This micro-lot represents an extraordinary milestone: it’s the very first all-female-produced lot out of the renowned Telila Coffee Washing Station in Gera, western Ethiopia.
Honouring Eight Visionary Producers
This coffee brings together the meticulous harvests of eight women smallholder farmers in Kecho Anderacha Kebele:
- Bashasha Aba Sura
- Faxe Tofik
- Saida Nasradin
- Imamu Siraj
- Sayida Mizbaw
- Salia Nasrudin
- Roman Mujai
- Sufi Aba Garo
In many coffee-growing regions, women handle most of the harvesting and processing but rarely see direct economic independence. To directly support their work and foster long-term autonomy, a dedicated quality price premium was paid straight to these eight producers to invest back into their farms and families.
What’s in the Cup?
Processed using a refined clean Ethiopian honey method, the cherries were depulped leaving a light layer of natural fruit mucilage before being dried gently on raised beds. The result is a clean, vibrant cup bursting with floral aromatics, bright acidity, and a smooth honey sweetness.
- Tasting Notes: Blood Orange, Honey, Apricot
- Region: Gera Woreda, Jimma Zone
- Elevation: 2000 masl
- Process: Clean Ethiopian Honey
- Varieties: JARC 74112 & 74110
- Importer: Osito Coffee
Roasted in Shepreth & Brew Guide
As with all our coffees, this lot was small-batch roasted right here in Cambridgeshire at our HQ Roastery in Shepreth. We’ve given it a light-to-medium profile to let the natural fruit sweetness and floral aromatics shine through.
- Best Brewed As: Filter, Pour-over (V60/Chemex), Aeropress, or French Press.
- Brew Tip: Try a 1:16 ratio using filtered water at 92°C – 94°C to open up those juicy stone fruit and honey notes.
- Resting: We recommend resting the beans for 5–7 days post-roast date for peak flavor.
