We got this coffee from long time partners Osito, who have been impressed from Mohammed Aba Nura for the last 4 harvests. Mohammed is part of the Tokuma group, the same producing group which long-time Osito producing partner Mensur Abahika belongs to. Over the last 4 harvests the team at Osito have had the opportunity to taste coffee from Mohammed but didn't have the purchasing power to meaningfully invest into a single producer.
But this season the stars have aligned and Osito have been able to commit to buying Mohammed's amazing coffee and hopefully starting a long lasting relationship.
Mohammed's 37.5 Hectare farm is located in the Omafuntulay Kebele of Jimma. His farm is at a staggering height of 2000 - 2100 masl and are dried on raised beds for roughly 20 days.
