We are thrilled to announce a stunning new exhibition currently on display at our Gwydir Street cafe. From now until 2nd November 2026, the walls of Hot Numbers Coffee (Units 5/6 Dales Brewery) will be brought to life by a beautiful collection of original landscape paintings from local Cambridge artist, Cathy Noble.

Whether you’re stopping by for your morning flat white or settling in for a weekend brunch with friends, we invite you to take a moment to explore this uplifting collection. Entry is completely free, and everyone is welcome.

About the Artist

Cathy Noble is an emerging Cambridge-based artist with a truly global perspective. Having grown up across four different countries and travelled extensively throughout her childhood, her work is infused with a rich variety of influences.

University and Art School educated, Cathy was part of the pioneering 5% of women accepted into British Universities during the 1970s. Today, she brings that same trailblazing energy to her canvas. She is a highly versatile creator, constantly experimenting with new ideas and mediums—spanning across landscapes, seascapes, floral art, still life, and abstract pieces. Her work has been showcased at 17 different venues around Cambridge, including Jesus College, the Cambridge Guildhall, and various Cambridge Open Studios events.

Cathy’s artwork is defined by its bright colours, strong brushstrokes, and incredibly positive, feel-good vibes. The pieces currently on display at Gwydir Street focus heavily on her stunning landscape work, designed to bring a touch of the natural world and a burst of uplifting energy into any room.
